5. Gold falling off of gold layer

phenomenon: hot stamping prints will remove gold dust after a little friction, which affects the integrity of hot stamping patterns. The load test is the tensile performance and effect with a fixed angle gasket

cause: the hot stamping temperature is too low, and the adhesive layer is not well bonded with the hot stamping material; The pressure is too light and the fixation is not firm; Hot stamping time is too short; The adhesive film is too brittle after drying

solution: try to find an appropriate temperature; The hot stamping time is a little longer; The pressure should be adjusted to an appropriate level, not too low, subject to the firm fixation after scalding. The pressure should not be too high, which may cause the gold layer to be adhered by the plate. The adhesive layer is brittle, which can only be solved by the electrochemical aluminum manufacturer

6. Hot stamping dislocation

phenomenon: the hot stamping position moves and becomes more and more serious

cause: the displacement of the printing plate becomes more and more serious with the extension of time. The position of paper feeding and other printed materials is incorrect, or the positioning pin is loose or one side falls off

solution: check and correct the position of the printing plate to make it stick firmly; Push the hot stamping materials to the position and keep pushing every time; The correction position should be appropriate; The positioning pin shall be fastened without loosening or falling off

when using electrochemical aluminum, be sure to keep it in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight. Second, we should make full use of electrochemical aluminum

7. Hot stamping pinhole

phenomenon: when hot stamping a wide impression, there should be a hole of regular size in the position that should be completely covered by gold, that is, the gold film is not hot. Especially when there is an ink layer or material with smooth surface. The hot stamping temperature is unstable

cause: the coating of electrochemical aluminum adhesive layer is uneven, and when hot, some gold will not bond; Materials with smooth surface (such as plastics) have local crystallinity on their surface, which is not compatible with adhesives; On the printed matter with ink layer, one situation is that the adhesive is not compatible with the resin used in the ink layer (insoluble); One situation is that the desiccant in the ink layer is too loose and is adhered off during hot stamping

solution: choose electrochemical aluminum according to the hot stamping material; Appropriately increase the hot stamping temperature; Roughen the surface with high crystallinity; If there is an ink layer, the ink layer should be dry and good for hot stamping. The ink layer should not be too thick. If the paper is not good, replace it with a good paper with uniform texture. In order to prevent the local instability of the hot stamping point connected auto voltage regulator, the use of contactless electronic voltage regulator can reduce power consumption and provide uniform and stable heat supply

8. Cloud formation

phenomenon: the gold is not bright, and the surface looks like a layer of light frost

cause: the hot stamping temperature is too high; Light pressure

solution: the hot stamping temperature depends on the nature of the anodized adhesive layer used. The currently used adhesive layer is divided into water-soluble adhesive layer and solvent adhesive layer

the water-soluble adhesive layer adopts methacrylate (for example, the standard of a to the experimental machine is the most accurate ester, butyl ester and ethyl ester that will be reported to the Environmental Protection Bureau of Wujin District in the future), acrylate (for example, ethyl ester), various monomers are emulsified and polymerized, then mixed in a certain proportion, added leveling agent, thickener, etc., painted and dried. Before applying the water-soluble color layer, a thin layer of glue (such as polyethylene butyraldehyde based glue) should also be applied. This kind of adhesive layer requires low temperature. At present, No. 8 and No. 15 electrochemical aluminum on the market belong to this type

solvent based adhesive layer, that is, various adhesives are dissolved in solvents (such as acetone, ethyl acetate, alcohol, etc.) and then coated. Adhesives such as nitrocellulose, shellac, rosin, acrylate, etc

at present, No. 100 and No. 12 electrochemical aluminum on the market belong to solvent based adhesive layer, which requires relatively high temperature

therefore, the fixed hot stamping temperature may not be suitable for every kind of electrochemical aluminum, and the adhesive layer may not be the same due to different electrochemical aluminum manufacturers. Yang should ask the electrochemical aluminum manufacturer about the temperature requirements of its products, which should not be generalized; Adjust the pressure so that the gold layer can be completely transformed

9, spotting and foaming

phenomenon: the hot gold layer is uneven in thickness, with sintering astringency; Some parts of the golden dome are bubbly. The brightness is not enough

reason: the hot stamping temperature is too high. You can see that there is an inertia value in general machinery and electricity. In addition, the pressure is large and the hot stamping time is long, which makes the gold layer black, and even the air rushed out due to the heating of the substrate, resulting in metal foaming

solution: the temperature should be controlled according to the hot stamping materials. The temperature of hot stamping soft plastic is generally 70~80 ℃, the temperature of hot stamping paper is generally 100~120 ℃, the temperature of hot stamping hard plastic, and the temperature of lacquer cloth should be between 110~130 ℃. It is also necessary to adjust the variable resistance voltage regulator in time to control the temperature according to the thickness and nature of the hot stamping parts. The pressure should master the principle of "full separation and uniformity" and the time should master "complete transfer". It does not affect the golden principle.
